AN OUTLINE PARTY PLAN
As a guideline 2 hours is usually long enough for a children's party.
For the first few minutes children will be arriving with cards and presents for the birthday child. You may wish to have the presents and cards placed on a table to be opened later, maybe at home where you can make a note of who the presents are from in case you wish to write "thank you" notes.
When you think most of the children have arrived it is time to start the party games. Games that can easily be joined in with are a good idea in case someone is a bit late. Musical games, treasure hunts, pass the parcel (have a big bag handy for the discarded wrappings) are all popular games to take you up to tea time.
For the party tea allow approximately 20 minutes. A few sandwiches cut into interesting shapes, cocktail sausages, fruit segments, crisps, small sponge cakes followed buy jelly and ice cream. Yum Yum, sounds good to me.
During the party tea UNCLE BOBBY will have arrived and will get set up ready to start the magic show. Before settling the children down with UNCLE BOBBY it is a good idea to do a toilet run. As UNCLE BOBBY finishes his show, mums and dads will be arriving to take the children home
